The Santa Cruz Singers (SCS) is an independent, non-profit organization that presents high-quality choral performances throughout Santa Cruz County. Under the direction of Christina Wilhelm, the SCS provides the community with an opportunity to create choral music in a supportive environment.  The chorus is comprised of approximately 25 men and women possessing a wide range of choral and musical experience.

Santa Cruz Singers

The Santa Cruz Singers have performed each year since 2002 and only missed the 2020 season because of the pandemic. Over the years, SCS has performed at dozens of locations in the region including the Tumacacori National Historical Park, the 1904 Historic Courthouse in Nogales and the Tin Shed Theater in Patagonia. A memorable trip led to a concert performed with the Charlestown Chorale at the Old South Meeting House, Boston and onboard the U.S.S. Constitution at the Charlestown Navy Yard, We’re very pleased to announce we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2022 with a retro version of the 2002 original concert.

If you like to sing, enjoy working as part of a team, and are willing to commit to scheduled rehearsals and performances (January through April), you are welcome to join this wonderful band of troubadours!  No formal training is required, just a willingness to learn.  As a member of the SCS, you’ll receive the music, a rehearsal CD, and all the support you need.  You may also wish to help us by volunteering.
