SUMMARY:Brahms Piano Quartet - A Benderly Concert Event
DESCRIPTION:Our Benderly Concert series 2025-2026 ends with the quartet of Elaine Chao\, Juan Mejia\, Rafael Lizama and Fanya Lin\, presenting a thoughtfully curated program – the muse and the artist – two works by life long devoted friends\, Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms\, whose mutual respect and admiration became legendary. \nFeatured are the Three Romances for Violin and Piano\, Opus 22\, one of which was dedicated to Brahms and the Piano Quartet No 3 in C minor\, often seen as an expression of Brahms’ feelings for Clara. \nJoin us for this closing program. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear great music performed by an outstanding quartet. \n\nPrepaid admission is $30 – adult or $15 – student. You can pay online until noon on the day of the concert (using your preferred credit/debit card or PayPal) or by sending a check to SCFPA PO Box 873\, Patagonia AZ 85624.
