Evan Kory (piano) and friends Juan Mejia (cello), Emily Chao (violin), Laura Casarez (violin) and Rafael Lizama (viola) grace the stage to showcase the extraordinary 1881 Bluthner grand piano that was donated to SCFPA by Torrey and Sandy Johnson. Fully restored in 2003 the Bluthner piano is one of Europe’s finest instruments. Two concerts are scheduled for the weekend for you to experience the unique sound of this piano. It has the starring role in both the solo and piano quintet compositions enhanced by our superbly talented chamber music ensemble. An outdoor reception will follow the concert.
