Our trademarked morning sessions of movement to classical music, ZOOMBACHS™️ is alive and well, blossoming in attendance and enthusiasm!

A unique program developed and facilitated by SCFPA director, Christina Wilhelm, ZOOM BACHS is aimed at people who would like to experience classical music in a new way. Moving with the “heart” beat of the music in our beautiful outdoor courtyard is sure to invigorate the body, mind and soul of everyone who participates.

The 30-minute long session consists of a brief historical description of the music including background on the composer and time period, a quick demonstration of 3 basic contemporary dance moves (merengue, conga, cha cha) for the newcomers,  followed by 20 minutes of music selected by Christina for that session.

Sessions are held weekly on Thursdays and run from 8 to 8:30 AM in the summer months and 9:00 to 9:30 when it’s cool. ZOOM BACHS sessions are free but donations are gratefully accepted. All proceeds go to the Santa Cruz Foundation for the Performing Arts.

If you have questions or would like to register for a session, you can email Christina at scfpaexec@gmail.com or call her at 617.645.4239.
