Our Benderly Concert series 2025-2026 ends with the quartet of Elaine Chao, Juan Mejia, Rafael Lizama and Fanya Lin, presenting a thoughtfully curated program – the muse and the artist – two works by life long devoted friends, Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms, whose mutual respect and admiration became legendary.
Featured are the Three Romances for Violin and Piano, Opus 22, one of which was dedicated to Brahms and the Piano Quartet No 3 in C minor, often seen as an expression of Brahms’ feelings for Clara.
Join us for this closing program. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear great music performed by an outstanding quartet.
