Fifteen years ago, in the wide landscapes of Montana, keyboardist Keaton Wilson and double bassist Steve Kalling first crossed musical paths. United by a shared vision of creative improvisation, they formed The Captain Wilson Conspiracy—a vehicle for original compositions and new explorations of both classic and contemporary jazz standards.
Now, fortunately for us, fate and music have drawn Keaton and Steve together again in Southern Arizona.
The duo, joined by saxophonist Trey Bryant, will present the exciting sounds of acoustic jazz in the intimate setting of the Benderly – Kendall Opera House.
