Takuma Trio – A Benderly Concert Event

The Takuma Trio – Toru Tagawa violinist, Kyungsun Choi pianist and Robert Marshall, cellist was formed in 2022. They chose to name their ensemble takuma, the Japanese word for polishing (as in polishing stones) – a word which aptly describes their dedication to highlight the musical gems of piano trios.

Two of these gems are on this program: the elegant Fauré Piano Trio and the intensely lyrical Piano Trio No.1 written by Brahms in his later years.

Prepaid admission is $30 – adult or $15 – student. You can pay online until noon on the day of the concert (using your preferred credit/debit card or PayPal) or by sending a check to SCFPA PO Box 873, Patagonia AZ 85624. Tickets purchased at the door on the day of the concert are $35/$20  (if seats are available)
