The Benderly String Quartet
By Kathleen Krause –
I discovered the Benderly-Kendall Opera House about five years ago and it has become my happy place. I regularly drive the scenic route from Tucson to attend events there.
After our Covid scare, I was pleased to be able to hear the season finale presented by the Benderly String Quartet. A rarely heard quartet by the Colombian composer Guillermo Uribe Holguin and a standard Haydn work were both performed beautifully in a lovely setting. I am looking forward to the next season’s offerings.
