Our final concert of the season is a bookend to the first concert in Nov 2022 when we showcased the 1881 Blüthner piano, graciously donated to the Foundation by Torry and Sandy Johnson. The program which features works by Bach, Donizetti and Tchaikowsky transcribed by Liszt and Rachmaninov, includes the rarely heard Lezghinka, a transcendental etude by Sergei Lyapunov. What a marvelous opportunity to hear the authentic sounds of a bygone era, superbly presented by a gifted pianist. A reception will follow in the courtyard.
